BEST JEWELER IN LA! Long overdue review. I work downtown, and a couple months ago I spent every lunch break for a week wandering around the DTLA Jewelry District trying to find a jeweler who could fix my antique gold and opal ring, which has sentimental value for me. To repair this ring, I needed a jeweler who could 1) replace a chipped opal, 2) fix/re-build the broken gold prongs that hold the center opal, and 3) resize the ring. So many jewelers I found gave me exorbitant prices while also telling me they'd fix this ring with things like heat, lasers, etc. -- while I had already known from basic internet research that extreme heat could case the opals to crack. If they didn't know that too, then they should have. If they DID know that, then they were still willing to take my money and potentially destroy a ring that's very precious to me. But then, when I was almost about to give up and just put the ring back in storage, I met Billy at Global Rings. And I'm so grateful. Billy was, hands down, the most honest, trustworthy, approachable, caring, patient, thorough, affordable, efficient, and, above all, knowledgeable jeweler I have ever met (and I met MANY in my walks around the jewelry district in attempt to fix this beautiful ring). Many descriptors, but he deserves every one of them. Billy gave me the lowest price of any jeweler I met with that week in the DTLA jewelry district (he probably made no profit off of helping me, but he gained a lifelong customer), but that's not even what led me to give him my business; I placed my ring in Billy's hands after he took the time to explain my many options to me (options that no other jeweler I spoke with had mentioned), immediately ordered new opals that I was able to pick from only a few days after my first visit (no other jewelry even offered to let me pick the new stone from a selection), gave me his carefully thought-out recommendations with time for me to think about what I ultimately wanted to do, and even consulted with his technicians again on his own volition (to ensure the repair approach was the safest and best one for this ring) before I came in again to pick the new opal proceed on the repair. He's also the only jeweler I met who offers discounts to those who work in law enforcement. When he learned I work for a law enforcement agency, he told me that many of his clients work in law enforcement and how Global Rings appreciates their service. This is truly a warm, compassionate jeweler. I cannot say enough great things about Billy and Global Rings Jewelry. I've been telling all my friends and law enforcement co-workers about my experience with Global Rings, and I'll continue to recommend him to everyone I know... and, of course, I will be sure to go back for all my future jewelry needs. A true 5 Star rating! My husband and two grown children had a wedding ring made up for me. It was for our 25th wedding anniversary. It is breath taking, so beautiful and clear. There was one change that I had made with the prongs and Billy was so understanding and happy to change it for me. I would highly suggest to make this your go to jewelry store for everything. Phenomenal experience! I searched for an engagement ring for my fiancé for several months at local stores. Several places tried to take advantage of me with low quality diamonds, inflated prices, or terrible customer service. Perfect custom rings! I am actually from New York but searched online for the best customer service, best prices and nicest designs for an online vendor because it felt easy. I looked high and low for the perfect bridal set. I finally found it, but it was more than my fiancee and I could afford. I called around for prices and Billy was able to get me the ring I wanted for a price I could afford and made great suggestions for other ways to make it affordable, as well. I made a special trip to LA from Phoenix, AZ to order my ring. When it came in he mailed it to me, (and surprised me with overnight for free) and it was exactly what I was expecting and I was so happy with it! (No problems with the shipping too. I was very nervous about having the most special piece of jewelry I will ever own in the mail! But there was NO problems at all! It came in a huge box and was packaged very securely.) I have been very happy with the *great* customer service at Global. I get someone on the phone EVERY time, during business hours. The one time I left a message, Billy called back promptly the next day. Everybody I have talked with has been very friendly and knowledgeable. We did not use their payment/credit options (beyond an 80%/20% split payment) but I like that they offered several options. Due to the very good experience we had with Global we are bringing our business back to them for my future husband's ring purchase. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

The wonderful staff at Global Rings have once again exceeded my expectations. We purchased a custom designed E-ring a bit over a year ago and recently returned to get our wedding rings done. I had a very specific list of attributes my wife was looking for in an engagement ring, several of which were quite unusual, and Global Rings Jewelry created a ring which successfully combined all those elements into a beautiful, cohesive whole which thrilled my wife. Of particular note was the hand engraving they did on the platinum band, which came out with exquisite detail. What an amazingly good experience I was helped from start to finish. All my initial questions were answered promptly and I was offered a very fair price on both the diamond and the band. What a great experience!! I was initially hesitant about buying an engagement ring online as was my family. I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience with Global Rings Jewelry was. I live in San Luis Obispo which is on the central coast of California. My fiance found the engagement ring she wanted at a local jewelry store up here. I got the model # and then started looking online for anyone else who might have a better price. Global Rings Jewelry popped up and they were advertising the same ring for 60% less than the local store here! It couldn't be true I thought. So I gave them a call and talked to Billy (the owner). He was very nice and confirmed the price I saw online. I still wanted to see the ring in person to make sure it was the same one my fiance picked out. So one week later I made the 4 hour drive down to Los Angeles. Lupe assisted me when I arrived. There was a small modification to the ring I wanted and she made me very confident that it was going to be perfect and made the whole interaction very easy. The ring was going to take 2 weeks to make and they were going to overnight mail it to me free of charge. I just received it a few hours ago and it was stunning, exactly what I wanted. I gave it to my fiance at lunch and she was ecstatic. She couldn't stop grinning the whole time. She even took a picture with her phone and immediately sent it to her mom and sister. Prior to walking in my fiance and me were so TIRED! We went to like 10 different stores were we felt hassled and cheated. I hate feeling like I'm getting ripped, so we decided to try one more time. We walked in because it was well lit and looked pretty! We were greeted by a cool chill guy (billy) he offered us nice cold water and asked how he could help.
